Puder, Inc. for EARTH RETENTION, UNDERPINNING AND STRUCTURE SUPPORT at the Orange County Regional History Center, Orlando Florida. The original Orange County Courthouse, built in 1927, went through a major renovation and now houses the Orange County Regional History Center. John N. Puder, Inc. was consulted and engaged to perform special work required for the construction of foundations for the new elevators inside the existing four story structure. Orange County ![]() ![]() The ABC Subcontractor Eagle Award was presented to JOHN N. PUDER, INC. Project Involved Drilling and Compaction Grouting for SINKHOLE STABILIZATION. Zaun Equipment Company, Lake Mary, Florida John N. Puder, Inc. performed the sinkhole stabilization work at the warehouse and office facilities of Zaun Equipment Company, Lake Mary, Florida. The project included installation of 63 angled and vertical grout injection pipes. 42 of the pipes were installed inside the structure to depths ranging from 30 feet to 155 feet below grade. The office and warehouse facilities continued full operations during the work. The job required a total grout quantity of 2,760 cubic yards to stabilize the sinkhole features.

PUDER, INC. for SINKHOLE STABILIZATION GROUTING, Florida Department of Transportation, State Road 434 Seminole County, Florida This sinkhole stabilization grouting was performed in the travel lanes of State Road 434. Scope of work included installation of 54 grout injection pipes. Angled and vertical grout pipes were set to limestone lying approximately 65 feet below the road surface. In order to maintain traffic flow, the work was performed in three phases. Over 1,150 cubic yards of cement grout was injected to stabilize the sinkhole. ![]() ![]() The ABC Subcontractor Eagle Award was presented to JOHN N. PUDER, INC. for PILE FOUNDATION, Holmes Correctional Institution, Bonifay, Florida The scope of work included surveying of proposed building, layout of pile locations, two ASTM 1143-5.6 load tests, and installation of 509 piles. All of the work was accomplished in 15 calendar days, inside of the operational State Prison, during tropical storm Beryl.
